Now that you've been born
The best we can do
Is try to make you as comfortable as possible
Until the inevitable
Just think of your family
And all the friends you'll make throughout your journey
As hospice workers
You see, your condition is terminal
You are a living breathing human being
On the planet Earth
And there is no cure for such a condition
All we can do
Is to keep your suffering at a minimum
And pray for your soul
